This bathroom is designed as a restorative interior environment where materiality, form, and sensory modulation support human physiological regulation. Natural stone surfaces and mineral-based finishes provide grounding through tactile and visual continuity, while a restrained neutral palette minimizes sensory overstimulation. Curved geometries and softened transitions promote spatial ease and subconscious perceptions of safety. A glass-enclosed walk-in shower and freestanding stone tub are organized to encourage slow, intentional movement through the space. Diffused lighting and layered textures support parasympathetic nervous system activation, shifting the body from stress response toward restoration. The project demonstrates how interior architecture can extend beyond aesthetics to actively support well-being through embodied, neuroaesthetic design principles.
