Handmade brick tiles glazed in a soft green hue took this kitchen from builder-grade white drab to fresh and updated for this outdoors- and beach-loving family. Out went the dated white tile backsplash, cabinetry, and countertops and was replaced with custom white oak cabinetry, including a bespoke island and double wall pantries, alongside marble, butcher block and quartz countertop materials. The green glaze in the timeless herringbone backsplash brick is echoed by the tinted green glass in the pair of island pendant lights, bringing color and movement to this otherwise neutral and classic space. The unlacquered brass finish of the sink faucet and hardware add pops of warmth and rustic glam.
